Apply the pulp of a ripe banana on the dry or cracked area of the heel and leave on for at least 10 minutes.
Soak your feet in lemon juice for 10 minutes each day and follow with a thick moisturizer. The acid in the lemons helps to dissolve the dry skin on the feet.
Cracked heels can also indicate that you’re deficient in essential nutrients. Be sure to take a whole food multivitamin and mineral supplement each day. In addition to this take 1 tablespoon of organic flax seed oil or fish oil daily.
