Ecological and Ethical Living

As individuals we can each take part in living a more ecological ethical lifestyle to help the environment and our bodies. Ecological living means making choices which help the planet and our health. An organic lifestyle helps to reduce chemical usage while recycling helps to reduce landfills. It is imperative that we start now in order to protect our planet and our children. There is a serious threat to the Earth and the changes need to be made now on a massive level in order to save our precious planet. It does take time to help people to alter their behavior. Many well noted scientists say the climate has already shifted across the globe as a result of Domestic and Industrial pollution.
Ecological living is about protecting and preserving our special planet.

Conservation

Conservation
is defined as an act of guarding, preserving, and protecting a thing in a safe place through preservation. Conservation is important especially for wildlife and natural resources. This problem has been becoming more serious as the worlds natural resources are being used up. Every day more animals are put on the endangered species list. All the animals of the world and their habitats need to be protected and preserved if all of us are to continue to go on living. Every creature and organism on the planet is all apart of the web of life. Respect nature, don't litter and never destroy the natural habitat of any animal.

Support organic farming by buying organic produce. There may even be some local farmers in your area where you can buy direct. Organic farming helps to conserve and protect the environment. Be sure to also recycle as this reduces the amount of waste that goes into our landfills which further helps to conserve our environment. Water is a very valuable resource on our planet and in essence water is what makes life possible here on earth. The earth is composed mainly of water and we should not take it for granted. Use water wisely and reduce your use in the kitchen bathroom and yard. Just letting the water run when brushing your teeth is wasteful. Be sure to check your sprinkler system often and be sure your not watering the sidewalk and street. Run your dishwasher and washing machine when they are full. Don't use tap water for cold drinks. Tap water is not safe to drink. Be sure to drink filtered preferably distilled water and keep a pitcher in the fridge. These are just a few things you can to do to help conserve our most precious resource. The most important thing to remember is to never be wasteful.
