Keep the warm areas of your body clean and dry. You can also apply a mild antifungal powder to your undergarments. Only use a very small amount.
Add garlic to your food to help kill the fungus from the inside out. You can also chop up fresh cloves of garlic and put them in a vegetable juice. Applying straight garlic to the fungus can also help, but use with caution if your skin is extra sensitive. Some people find they like to apply honey instead because it can also help to kill the fungus.
Apply tea tree oil to the affected areas daily. Tea tree oil is an all natural antibacterial fungicide. It can also be used for infections, cuts, burns, scraps among many other things.
Using dandruff shampoo on that area of the body has also been known to help jock itch.
