Drink small amounts of clear sweetened liquids such as flat soda pop, fruit juice, (besides orange or grapefruit as these juices have too much acid. ) The sugar in the drinks can help to calm the stomach and slow down or stop the vomiting. Sprite or 7 up is a commonly used remedy for an upset stomach and vomiting.

Dry to stay well hydrated and drink as much water as possible in small sips. Try to also include drinks that have electrolytes added. A product that is good for a child is known as kaolectrolyte because it helps to prevent dehydration and has the essential electrolytes.
Don't eat any solid food until the vomiting stops. Try to stick with soups and clear liquids. Get rest and try to relax.

Drinking ginger tea can help with vomiting and nausea because it helps to calm the stomach and has properties in it which combat nausea. Be sure that its real ginger tea and drink it often. Ginger candy and food doesn't do the same thing.

Sucking on peppermints or hot peppermint tea can also help to stop vomiting.

Acupuncture has been known to help extreme vomiting and morning sickness.
