Home Remedies for Yeast Infections
Apple cider vinegar is a very cold natural remedy which has been used to treat recurring yeast infections. Douching with apple cider vinegar helps to restore normal bacteria balance in the vagina.
You can go to a Naturopath to get a suppository that contains tea tree oil and acidophilous. This has been seen to be very effective and usually works with a few days to a week.
Take a trip to the store and buy a small carton of "plan" yogurt. Any brand. Be sure that the yogurt has no fruit or anything else in it. No added sweeteners or any kind. Also be sure to buy the yogurt that says "active cultures" on the container. Also pick up a box of tampons at the store. When you get home take one of the tampons out of the wrapper and dip it into the yogurt and insert the tampon into your vagina. The good bacteria in there will be where its needed and until it eliminates the yeast infection. Leave the tampon in for at least an hour or do it over night. Repeat this daily until it the infection has cleared up. Be sure to keep the yogurt in the fridge and make sure its labeled as medicinal yogurt and don't get it confused with the other food or other yogurt in the fridge.
Preventing future yeast infections
Take a whole food multi vitamin and mineral supplement
Drink 8 to 10 glasses of pure water each day
Take 1000 mg of Vitamin C daily
Take a liquid pro biotic supplement to keep the good bacteria in your body which fights the bad and works at preventing yeast infections.
Take a liquid chlorophyll supplement daily
Take organic flax seed oil daily
Eat yogurt several times per week with active cultures
Focus on a diet rich in fruits and vegetables, low in salt and high in lean meats. Stay away from refined foods that can upset the normal balance of flora in your digestive tract. Eat foods that are yeast free or limit your consumption. Avoid acid forming foods like sodas, fried foods, salty foods, junk foods and fast food.
